Support
Help with interview audio review on iPhone, the Final Cut Pro workflow and reporting a problem.
Need help?
If Thressa isn't behaving as expected, please get in touch. Include the device you're using, the macOS or iOS version, your Thressa version, the Final Cut Pro version if relevant, and a short description of what happened.
What does Thressa review?
Thressa currently reviews interview audio, not video. Listen on your iPhone with headphones wherever it is convenient, focus on what is being said and mark precise ranges as Favourites or Rejects.
Which editing application does Thressa work with?
Thressa currently works exclusively with Final Cut Pro for Mac. Prepare your interview audio and project information for review, then bring your Thressa review back into Final Cut Pro.
How do my selections return to Final Cut Pro?
Ranges marked as Favourites and Rejects in Thressa map back onto the corresponding ranges of the original media and clips in Final Cut Pro. You do not need to note timecodes or recreate your selections manually.
Before contacting support
- Check that you are running the latest version of Thressa available to you.
- If the issue involves iCloud, confirm that you are signed into the intended Apple Account and that iCloud is available.
- If a Final Cut Pro import does not behave as expected, keep a copy of the relevant source FCPXML and Thressa export so the issue can be reproduced.
- For audio-linking or selection-mapping problems, include the original clip name and enough information to identify the affected project and range.
Beta testing
During TestFlight testing, feedback can also be submitted through TestFlight. Screenshots, screen recordings and clear reproduction steps are particularly helpful for intermittent problems.
