Overview
Thressa is an interview audio review tool for iPhone that currently works exclusively with Final Cut Pro for Mac. It is designed to keep your filmmaking workflow focused and private. The app does not rely on advertising or sell your personal information.
Project and media information
Thressa may process interview audio and information required to organise and review your projects, original clip references, selected ranges, Favourites, Rejects and related metadata. These references and ranges support mapping your review selections back onto the corresponding original media and clips in Final Cut Pro. Depending on the workflow you use, audio and project information may be stored locally on your device or in your iCloud account.
iCloud
Where iCloud features are enabled, Apple provides the underlying storage and synchronisation service. Information stored in iCloud is handled in accordance with Apple's terms and privacy arrangements.
Diagnostics
Apple may make diagnostic or crash information available to developers where users have chosen to share analytics with app developers through their Apple device settings. This information is used to identify faults and improve reliability.
Support enquiries
If you contact us for support, we will receive the information you choose to include in your message, such as your name, email address and details of the issue. We use that information only to respond to your enquiry and provide support.
This website
This website is intentionally simple and does not include advertising or marketing trackers. Standard web server logs may be created by the hosting provider for security, reliability and operational purposes.
Your choices
You can manage iCloud and analytics permissions through your Apple device settings. You can also remove local app data by deleting projects or the app, subject to any copies that remain in your own iCloud storage or backups.
Changes to this policy
This privacy notice may be updated as Thressa develops. The latest version will always be published on this page.
